The sensibility of existence

Painting put forward by Brigitta Rossetti places itself in the best western artistic tradition carrying echoes and calls of moments and artists that at their turn have been dazzled and fascinated by the compressed, synthetic and essential expressiveness, true and alive, of generally eastern culture and by its bright chromatic peculiarities, since the early 19th century throughout the whole 20th century painting.

She has an inner vision, intimate and for this reason lively and winning, true and emotionally rich, where sign and colour live together in a symbiotic relationship, where sign is never satisfied of its presence if not in relation with the colour that wraps it, rich and exalting. Her colours and her pictorial gestures, her tender figures and her writings are the pure expression of a world that opens itself towards new visions, new realities, new expressive horizons.

These are the stylistic mark of a constant search for herself, for oneself. The “ghosts of mind”, or the subjects and elements that form her ardent and very personal pictorial vision, become true creatures in a dimension that ends with involving us too: no more only symbols and graphic characters, no more only landscapes and figures, but tangible figures embodied with a new artistic expression, intimately linked to her eastern travels as well, to her changing and polyhedral world and to the awareness that each sign is never unique but spreads other signs and other colours in an ideal chromatic breeding, unique and unrepeatable as unique and unrepeatable everyone's life is, with its moments and its feelings.

In this way, painting and reality are a part of a same life, of a same thinking sensitiveness; they live together in a unique dimension, precisely that planning and pictorial that feeds itself of warm chromatic assonances in a palette that often privileges cold colours, but with some touches of warm tones that gives it the vital breath in order to become life, true, real, tangible and emotionally full of feelings.
